When you are networking nothing beats a face-to-face meeting and “pressing the flesh”.
And so it proved for’s Mark Johnson at the recent NACFB Commercial Finance Expo.
Mark, Associate Director Business Development, was delighted with the response from the most successful Expo he has attended – and he has been to a few.
A total of 18 new Introducers registered on the website on the day – 14 who were not NACFB members, proving the popularity of the event.
One of the key advantages of attending the Expo was being able to promote and explain Pension-led funding, highlighted by the fact that a number of advisers knew very little about PLF funding options.
A number of good leads are currently being followed up and Mark is expecting this to increase in the coming months.
Follow-up meetings with Introducers, who took part in detailed discussions about PLF, could boost the response further.
“The Expo gave us the perfect opportunity to meet Introducers and talk about Pension-led funding. We are delighted with the response and the feedback from all those we spoke to highlighted the value of attending the event,” Mark said.
“We will certainly be back next year. We are passionate about building relationships with Introducers and this was the perfect environment to do that.”
